Hi there, looking for some specs on a 4 wire Volvo v70 naturally aspirated 2.4lt petrol. First, it seems that they come with a 4 and a 5 wire sensor (but latter may be for turbo models?) Can anyone confirm.

Second, wondering if 4 wire is a wideband; scantool gives mV measurement but could be a conversion.

Third, wondering if there is a heat ohm spec and a signal wire and signal return V spec (if it’s a wideband).

thanks Mike. Been watching your vids on and off for a while and they are always the highest quality information and techniques.

      Alex,

That’s correct, the turbo runs a 5 wire and the NA motor runs a 4 wire. Both of them are widebands.

You are seeing the conversion on the scanner. The computer will monitor that sensor in milliamps.

Heater resistance looks to be about 2.5 ohms. Unfortunately, I’m striking out on signal and signal return voltage values πŸ™
