    Legit question for testing.

My truck starts but seems to chug (lack of fuel on a few engine revolutions) on initial start and if I get off the freeway to a exit and after stopping, takes awhile (3 to 5 seconds) for the engine to respond to the throttle position. Possible issues?

Does it have a check engine light on? Any codes?

What do you mean, “takes a while for the engine to respond to the TP?” Are the revs staying too high?

Without codes it’s a tricky diag. Is fuel pressure reading at desired pressure? Are the turbo vanes moving as they should…more questions than answers.
